Sunday Morning Live Stream Worship Service begins at 10:00 AM
We will continue to live-stream service here on our website at: umcnorthchili.org.
We are now back to in-person worship services.
We continue to be mindful of the health and safety of our congregation and community members.
We realize individuals may not be vaccinated for personal or health reasons, and that's okay.
We only ask that you continue to wear your mask at all times and ask an Usher to seat you in a reserved pew.
If you have any health issues please join us for the Live-Stream service.
Everyone should please continue to use Hand sanitizer.
*Per CDC and Monroe County Health recommendations*:
As of August 2021 we recommend that everyone wear a mask while in our Church.
Once seated you may remove your mask if you are fully vaccinated and are comfortable doing so.
If you stand to sing quietly, please don your mask.
Please be mindful of people's personal space.
Refrain from hugging and handshakes.
Collection Plate is available upon entering, but will not be passed.
The Bible is the foundation of our worship.
The scripture for our service generally follows the Lectionary calendar.
The theme each week focuses on how we can apply the text to our daily lives.
From our Tuesday Bible study to our Children's message to our Sunday Sermon, we tie the theme together.
We hope you will find us to be inviting, inspiring and welcoming even through Virtual Worship!
We are a denomination that is committed to spreading the Gospel of Jesus Christ worldwide.
We believe in one God in three forms, Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
A typical Sunday service consists of announcements about church happenings,
hymns, prayers, choir anthem, joys and prayers of the people,
a sermon and more song. There may be laughter, chimes, and passing of the peace!
Children are invited to attend services or head to the Nursery during service.
September through June they may wish to participate in a class.
We are blessed with talented musicians who lead us in a variety of musical styles.
Nursery care for infants and toddlers is offered during every worship service,
and the service may be heard in the nursery.
The dress is casual but nice.
Following worship all are invited to the fellowship hall for a casual time to visit over coffee and snacks.
Coffee hour and fellowship time will be with prepackaged snacks, bottled water and coffee being served.
Once seated with your snack you may remove your mask.
We are a safe sanctuary church, protecting our children, youth and vulnerable adults.
Holy Communion is celebrated the first Sunday of the month, and on special occasions.
Ours is an open table for all. Gluten free is available.
At this time we are refraining from partaking of the elements.
We baptize infants, children and adults.
There are Sundays that are especially appropriate for this, but any Sunday can be arranged.
Confirmation class for youth in 6th grade and up is held every other year.
