Prayer for Understanding: (Unison)
Spirit of God, as easy as the wind blows, so does our facility toward distraction. Becoming aware and lingering on your words—yes, meditating until understanding becomes our ground of being—is like grasping a rope of sand. Help us, then, to not be overwhelmed with always being attentive from now on; rather, tenderly aid us in just being present now with your Word that is about to unfold into our mind and heart. Amen.
Scripture Reading:
John 8:1-12
Children’s Message & The Lord’s Prayer
Hymn: #606 Come, Let Us Use the Grace Divine

Beyond Forgiveness

*Doxology #95
Praise God, from whom all blessings flow; Praise God, all creatures here below; praise God above, ye heavenly host; praise Father, Son, and Holy Ghost. Amen.
*Blessing of Gifts (Unison):
All that we have, all that we give, becomes the prayer through which we live. Thy Kingdom come, thy will be done. Amen.
